Tate by NailsInc. is an arty name for a nail lacquer, and yes, indeed, this nail polish by NailsInc couldn’t be described any better. I’ve stumbled upon NailsInc Tate (Red) when I was looking for my new statement red nail polish after said goodbye to my considerable collection in Italy.

Now, “why a red?” Oh dear, red nail polish is like that little black dress in your closet! Every girl should have got at least one! If you’ve got a couple, that’s fine. I don’t blame you, there are so many shades of red! But, if the amount of bottles you own is close to a three-figures number, you’d better ask for some professional help.

NailsInc. Tate nail polish: product & packaging

This NailsInc. nail polish is a gentle product formulated without heavy chemicals, phthalates, and animal-derived ingredients. This cruelty-free nail lacquer comes in a 10-ml cylindrical bottle with a big silver cap and a wide flat brush to spread the product easier and faster.

Formula & texture
This NailsInc. nail polish has been developed to provide a long-wearing, glossy, fast-drying, and breathable experience. Its consistency is fairly liquid - thus easy to apply - and seems creamy with a jelly sensation.

Shade & finish
NailsInc.Tate (Red) is a deep red which is vivid and bright both on your nails and through the bottle. With some sunlight, a content of orange can be perceived but – as I work the nail polish on the neck of the bottle, I see a dominant blue pigment proper of a magenta.
The result is an intense red that’s close to a Venetian red but brighter than a Carnelian or a Crimson. The finish is fully crème but looks deep and thick like a gel nail polish. Drying timing is decent, 2 thin coats are what I recommend for a nice coverage, followed by 1 layer of top coat to protect, emphasise and prolong the Tate nail polish wearability.
